Answers to what buyers ask us most often. If your question is not here, write to us through the contact page and a trade manager will answer.
What is your minimum order quantity?
Orders start at container level: a bulk tank truck at 24 metric tonnes, a flexi bag in a 20’ container at 20 metric tonnes, or a truck of packed goods at 22 metric tonnes. Smaller trial volumes are discussed case by case.
Which Incoterms do you work on?
FCA, DAP, DDP, CFR and CIF. A price without an Incoterm is not comparable, so we always quote the term together with the volume and the packaging.
How quickly can you ship to the EU?
We ship from our own warehouses in Ukraine, by road and rail. Lead time depends on the volume, the packaging and the destination, so the realistic loading window comes with the quote rather than after the order.
Do you offer private label?
Yes, across the bottled range from 850 ml to 10 litres and the professional formats from 5 to 20 litres. We handle format selection, label artwork and palletising. Details are on the bottling and private label page.
What documents ship with the goods?
Every consignment travels with an analytical report from our own certified laboratory, covering the parameters agreed in your contract. The report is issued for your lot, not a generic type specification.
Can you match a specific specification?
Send the target fatty acid profile, smoke point or shelf life and our R&D team will tell you plainly whether we can hit it. If a parameter is out of reach with our seed base, we say so before you place an order.
What is the difference between crude and refined oil?
Crude is the oil as it comes off the press. Refining removes phospholipids, free fatty acids, pigments and volatile compounds through degumming, neutralisation, bleaching and deodorisation, which is what produces a neutral taste, a high smoke point and a long shelf life.
Why choose high-oleic sunflower oil over standard?
High-oleic oil has far less of the polyunsaturated fraction that oxidises first, so it lasts longer in the fryer and keeps a cleaner flavour. Whether the extra cost pays off depends on how many hours a day your fryers actually run.
What is the difference between soybean cake and soybean meal?
Cake is what remains after mechanical pressing and keeps more residual oil, so more metabolisable energy. Meal is solvent-extracted, with lower fat and higher protein per kilogram. Tell us which one your formulation assumes and we supply the matching product.
How is the price formed?
Seed cost at harvest, crush margin, packaging format and freight to your delivery point. Consolidated volume, a fixed loading window and a season-long contract move the number more than negotiation does.
